Birthday November 14

I thought I would post a few pictures of the weekend. My birthday was fantastic. Jeff and Daniel gave Rach and I their tickets to the Canucks vs. NYI. Daniel ending up getting a ticket as well. Rach and Daniel made it on SportsNet pre-show game. We wouldn't had known, but Matt Groot let us know he saw them.

Anna-lise had Joyce and Marie visiting for a few days. They came over Sat. night. FUN!!!!! The pictures say it all. Sarah, we wished you were there!!!!!!!

Pake and Beppe came over for a cup of tea that night, Peter and Sarah called from New Zealand, Jeff had called from Vietnam the week before. Lots of good wishes over the phone and FaceBook. It was a great celebration.

Fall Family Pictures

It's been a beautiful fall this year. The colours are vibrant, deep reds, oranges and mustard yellow. We're pressing some leaves between newspaper, a few keepsakes of Fall 2011. So, some family shots for you to enjoy. P.S. Daniel is sporting a Movember stache!!!

Fall Fun

Halloween 2011 has come and gone. Numbers were down by at least 1/2. We ended up having about 120 trick or treaters to the door. Hot chocolate, boterkoek and pumpkin bread was served in the garage. Fleetwood church had a trunk or treat event. Kathleen was a bit cold, so she came over to our place. Rach and her dug in the dress up box, and VOILA! she was a maid. Bill had a massive bunny on the back of his motorcycle at the Fleetwood CRC event. Bill and Joyce came over for a quick visit. We always enjoy their company.

Lindsey was over for supper (Burgers, Sat. night). She took the rug with her in her car. This was a much better situation than Daniel taking the rug on the SkyTrain en-route to a Canucks game.
